This month we have two topics proposed:
ContinuousIntegration (CI) and
Test Patterns from the book "xUnit Test Patterns" by GerardMeszaros
As I am brought in to help a development team learn TDD/Acceptance TDD, I frequently discover they should be learning and implementing CI. During the last SaltLakeAgileRoundTable, I did a informal survey of the CI being used at the companies represented. After a quick show of hands, I realize even the people who are doing Agile well, could use help with their CI. We will explore the topic of CI using CruiseControlRb.
The second topic will help us with our unit testing. In pairs, we will look at the Gerard's test patterns, find one we don't know very well, code it up and then demo it to the rest of the group.
