In attendance JohnMajor, ZhonJohansen, KayJohansen, SteveSmith.
We implemented tests and fixtures to drive those tests using FitNesse. JohnMajor showed us his AcceptanceTests for his company.
Are we going to focus on Cunningham's AcceptanceTesting Framework this month? I'd be very interested in doing this - I've just been given technical responsibility for this topic at my company, and it is clear that it spans a lot of non-technical areas. --JohnMajor
There are two things that are hot on my list to talk about:
WardCunningham's FrameworkForIntegrated Testing - this is something that is brand-new to me, but appears to be right down the alley of what I'm working on right now. I'm very interested in the practical differences between UnitTests and AcceptanceTests, as XP defines them.
- UI testing frameworks. I could demo the testsuite for our Swing UI components, which is built on JUnit and Jemmy, and talk about the issues we've uncovered so far. This is the first time we have built a UI-based unit testsuite, and we are watching it carefully for signs of fragility.
Not having attended a meeting yet, I don't know if the XpUtah meetings focus on practical programming matters, matters very specific to XP practices, or what, but I thought I'd throw something out there to see

Here is the schedule:
Writing fixtures and tests for FitNesse. (see http://www.fitnesse.org for downloads)
We will also do some talking and I hope demoing John's Jemmy UI UnitTest Testing for Sun's Swing (JJUUTTSS)
cheers, --ZhonJohansen
